Freedom exists, but all this information moves faster than light… So I am free…It’s only your own thoughts that keep you imprisoned in the cave. Only your own thoughts
only your own mind that turned the key and threw it away Ved du egentlig hvem jeg er?
Do you actually know who I am? Have you possibly always known me? I think you may have always known me. You have looked into my heart, my blood-red heart. And you have looked into the blood. You know me as if you were me and I know you as if I were you. We have almost melted into one – although they say you’re not allowed. You’re not allowed to do it. (in a paranoid voice): They say it is forbidden, they say you have to be careful not to break into another system. In their brains you can get badly hurt because you forget the outer lines of your own body and there will be holes everywhere! You do something to me. I don’t know what it is, I don’t know what it could be. I only know what it was…Walking in this mountain and going deeper and deeper into this mountain. Why this is the sound of interior design… C'est quoi ce truc ? What is that thing?

Contretemps 09:46
Combien de jours How many days Résisterai-je Shall I resist Mon tendre amour My sweet love Ma Blanche-Neige Dear Snow White Combien de nuits How many nights A vous attendre Waiting for you Sans faire de bruit Making no noise Sans vous entendre Not hearing you Combien de temps How much time Prend un baiser Does a kiss take Pour maintenant To wake you up Vous réveiller Right now Combien fait mal How much does it hurt Si le temps passe If time passes Sans que nos râles Without our cries Laissent une trace To leave a trace Approchez-vous Come closer Même en dormant Even sleeping Délivrez-nous Deliver us Du contretemps If we’re off beat

Frygt 05:43
Men offer for vores skiftende opfattelser. Offer for vores indre kulør.
FEAR "But well, that’s nothing to be afraid of!" Fear – in the non-specific sense – is like liquid worry attached to a potential future situation that may or may not turn out as feared
But only once in a while like small cracks of black discomfort
in the middle of things that are not like that.
Things that are maybe just as they always are
- kind of ok. And neutral. As a starting point
but victims of our ever changing perceptions. Victims of our inner alternating colours. That’s exactly what it is. That fear that comes to take us when we expect it the least
in the middle of the night as we turn in our sleep. And we cannot get rid of it.
We cannot get rid of the fear
and we shouldn’t be afraid of it,
it will come and take us in the middle of the night in the middle and in between the lines of our most horrible dreams!
”I do believe I have become a little afraid of fear – but I shouldn’t be because it will maybe only
turn into black cracks in the future, when – every once in a while in the future - we FFEEEAAARRR!!!!

C’est tout petit It is so small Ça veut dire loin That means far Oui mais c’est grand But it’s so big Quand tu t’approches When you come near Les dimensions Dimensions N’existent en rien Do not exist Seules les distances Only distances Nous accrochent Attract us Au microscope Under the microscope On voit très bien One can see well Les sentiments All feelings C’est dans la poche It’s in the bag C’est tout petit It is so small Ça veut dire loin That means far Oui mais c’est grand But it’s so big Quand tu t’approches When you come near Si dans l’espace If you reach me Tu me rejoins In deeper space On aura le temps We shall have time De faire des mioches To have kids Au télescope Let's focus Faisons le point With a telescope Au firmament To the firmament C’est la bamboche What a party C’est tout petit It is so small Ça veut dire loin That means far Oui mais c’est grand But it’s so big Quand tu t’approches When you come near

Dark Waters 05:37
A mystic force is rising. It is but the first rustling, but it is a super-human rustling. The spirit of truth is passing now over the face of dark waters. And compelling them to reveal their spiritual treasures. And this spirit is a force that cannot be hindered and that can never, never be stopped.

This Paris 08:38
The café’s of Paris – where checked paper table cloths keep the myth going. The kids of Paris – playing with plastic and wood on half lit backyard cobblestones. The waiters of Paris – who, wearing white shirts and blue aprons, recommend the quiche of the day and not the more expensive confit de canard à la carte. The lost ones of Paris with tinned eyes in corners of half empty restaurants insisting on paying for each other in much too loud voices. This is Paris… The secret female tramp of Paris who, in the heat of the transparent bank withdrawal cage, sits on the floor and, having removed shoes and socks, carefully let her fingers run down her pale and dirty legs to find out where the problem is. Ah, This is Paris…
The suburbs of Paris where tile floored and stone walled houses lean against each other shuttering from the unexpected winter cold. And where dark skinned teenage girls dressed in black cheerfully crawl into taxis at the metro stations to celebrate yet another Saturday night at the local African disco. And this is Paris.
This is Paris… Paris – where tired cultural eyes have seen it all and trained for many years to never show amazement or awe. This is Paris – also Paris.
This is Paris… Paris where people talk and talk out of the sheer pleasure of describing in words the most fleeting of sensations in the smallest of details. Ahhh, this is Paris.
Ahh, all this is Paris
Such is Paris… Paris, where life is hard and where the rats of the night occupy le Champs de Mars at the foot of the Eiffel tower when the Barons of daylight have dozed off into dreamland. This is Paris…

What can be deducted in the room Is air led and misled by waves of sound and light Is shots of emotion from hearts Moved by the wash of waves onto a chest And the rings spread out through the air Rhythmically, electrically And the sparks fly And the waves break to whip Each other into foam In an air bursting with the unsaid That will speak If only one listens

about

El Strøm means current in Danish.
Three streams form a river.
At the first dam, the electrical energy encourages travel. Birgitte Lyregaard sings across borders (jazz, pop, punk, contemporary, classical…) to leap over continents willy-nilly of frontiers. A piece of cake.
Sacha Gattino fashions sharp rhymes and sound objects grabbed from everywhere on the planet, transforming his toys with the intensity of children playing.
Jean-Jacques Birgé, who plays here rare instruments, acoustic or electronic, recounts that it is the first time that he has shared such close collaboration since Un Drame Musical Instantané.
Songs carefully crafted or free improvisation, homemade instruments or cutting edge technology, siren song or revolt of the machines, the electro-shock produces a feeling more real than nature.

Long Time No Sea was the first new CD by Jean-Jacques Birgé since 1998 (Un Drame Musical Instantané's Machiavel). For the last 10 years GRRR has published 74 unissued albums on drame.org, but all exclusively online, virtual objects free to listen or download!
To present these 77 minutes, Étienne Mineur has designed a fantastic cover and libretto playing with videoprojectors and reflective materials. He has integrated drawings by Grandville from 1844 and even another one from 1774, all belonging to Sacha Gattino's own collection. By the way it's also Sacha's first CD.
