Algerians were fighting for their independence. When he was 5, to walk to school rue Vivienne, the little boy had to cross the Place de la Bourse where the police were parked alone. Since then, the traders have moved to computer desks. On the first floor of #36, the players use to lose their shirt... Later, Birgé would invent modern music boxes such as Pâte à Son or FluxTunes with Frédéric Durieu. He asked accordionist Michèle Buirette, his first wife, to compose a waltz that their daughter Elsa would sing, accompanied by Nicolas Chedmail, the father of his grandson who was about to be born... We also hear the voices of his own father and sister recorded, like his own, in 1958...
