In creating the Harpon duet with Amandine Casadamont who plays only vinyls on decks, Birgé found a partner whose dramatic skills related to her radio activities were perfectly in tune with his own cinematic syntax. The origins of his work are obviously related to his studies at Idhec (the French National Film School). One can recognize the editing work involving ellipses, perspective effects with the size of shots, dialogues and landscapes, sound effects and ambiences, etc. Antoine Schmitt programed the Mascarade Machine invented with Birgé. Transforming the interpreter into a puppeteer in front of the webcam of the computer, the application makes it possible to translate the radio flow into melody, rhythm or soundscape...
