about

Sacha Gattino composed this tribute to his old mate in memory of their common love for sound toys, derisory instruments and other rudimentary objects. Like actors, musicians have the privilege of continuing to play all their lives, like children, the children that they have miraculously remained until the end. “You gave me your mud and I have turned it to gold” wrote Baudelaire... For half a century, both friends have constantly twisted this line of The Flowers of Evil, going so far as to enjoy totally reversing it, the cruel little rascals! Sacha Gattino ends this saga by going back in time at top speed.
